I got a month rental with Thairent a car for 10,000baht for the month with a 5,000bht

deposit . I got a Yaris .

But you can get Fortuner for 24,000

I'm not sure now with the pandemic but my then 16 yr old flew with Air Asia from Sydney to BKK with no issues entering. I assume if they are vaccinated and have thai pass then enter through vaccinated line at Airport it wouldn't be a issue

Even if covid insurance disappears. You still need travel insurance which these days most cover covid now anyways .

Your mad if you dont have travel insurance to travel .
