it’s probably because this question has been asked a million times and people can’t believe that people are still asking, just saying don’t worry have a happy holiday.
Check your travel insurance as well, some policies require a return ticket booked otherwise they can refuse coverage. Lucky I did last trip or I would have been $40k AUD out of pocket.
They’re all bullshit ripoff, I don’t know why people still use this crap. Always cheaper to book direct and no rubbish about “only one room left at this price”wankers
I’m going to say it but you get rent assistance from the Australian taxpayers yet you can go away on holidays frequently and for a couple of months, they should stop paying you any extra benefits permanently if you can afford the holidays. This is exactly why we have all these rules and regulations now, have a think about it before you come back at me with something unfriendly.
Sometimes it’s your travel insurance that requires a return ticket, check the fine print. I don’t normally book a return flight until I’m in Thailand and have never had an issue with immigration, the last time was different as i booked a return flight from home and when I ended up in a Bangkok hospital with a heart attack the insurance company required a return flight confirmation. Very lucky for me and a lesson learnt.
