Can I get a 60-day tourist visa at the Padang Basar border?

There is nothing to do or see in Padang Basar!!

We had to wait 2h for a connecting train to Butterworth and the wait was painfully long!!!

(we arrived by train from Hat Yai)

Definitely get a visa before you get here!

Even if it’s just the initial Non O (90 days) which can now be done online!

Advice from a fellow aussie, get the 90day Non O from the embassy in Sydney!!!

(makes live a whole lot easier here in Thailand - and will probably save you some coin and headache)
