1900 for the extension.

900 baht now for the extra service fee of doing it there (800 when I went before)

200 baht for 6 photos done on site. (If you don’t bring your own)

So 900-1100 extra on top of the extension fee. Which is the same at Chaengwattana.

This is the best service. Used to do it many times. No need to be an in-patient. Convenient, comfortable and worth every baht.

Take a photocopy of your passport. It’s not on the checklist but it’s required. Saw two girls who had to leave, Find a copier and come back. Bali Consulate is not near any copy shops.

Sophie Marielle that is the strangest thing. How can most people travel for 6 months while being employed? ... Students. Stay at home parents. Anyone wanting to travel long term. Etc...

Chinese tourists can’t get an METV in England. Only in China.

Maybe a letter from your last employer and a letter stating that you are taking a year off will do? Surely that has to make sense to anyone pushing paper at the embassy.

It’s totally fine to be unemployed. You are applying for a tourist visa hence you will be going on a holiday or traveling around for an extended period of time. Most employed people cannot do this long enough to warrant getting a METV.

If you have all of the other requirements you should have no problem to get an METV provided you are a resident of the country where you apply.

Buy a “flexi” flight within the 60 days to get the visa. Then when you go for your extension just change the flight date for around your 90 day limit.

you have 3 accounts? Don’t click on each account individually. The main page that shows all 3 accounts should have your name there.

All of my banking has my name somewhere at the top.
