Answer summary
Recent information indicates that it is possible to obtain a 2-month tourist visa at the Honorary Consulate in Bali. Experiences shared by others suggest that it may be helpful to prepare a photocopy of your passport, although it is not listed as a requirement. Communication with the consulate via email has reportedly been responsive. Some applicants have faced scrutiny regarding documentation, so it is advisable to have all necessary documents prepared.

I was there recently. It worked out, but they might be a bit picky about documentation

When I contact them by emails, they replied pretty soon on working days and hours - was last June or July.

Take a photocopy of your passport. It’s not on the checklist but it’s required. Saw two girls who had to leave, Find a copier and come back. Bali Consulate is not near any copy shops.
