It will need your name on it. If signed into online banking should have your name at the top of the site?

Just print the front page of your online banking. Showing your name, account and balance. They don’t need the official bank statement for SETV.

And the 20k isn’t given to the embassy or agent. It’s separate and for showing at the border upon entry to Thailand, if requested by immigration officers.

Might be better to say what I thought VIPkid was! and say you are a trust fund baby 😅 but would still need to show income from a trust 🤷‍♀️

you should buy the flight home now for say 60? Or 90 days after this visa will be issued. Which will show them that in 60 days time (or after one more extension) you will indeed go home. I was at Penang embassy in late June. Bought my flight home for mid August

I was in the same position. I had to buy a flight back to home country.

If you can prove you have a lot of money and a flight home then they will grant you a visa. But you must buy a flight home for the end of the visa they will give you. And really need to show funds that are coming from outside of Thailand.

I’m pretty sure you can buy a single reentry permit when you leave on the 8th - if by plane you can get it at the airport before you exit Thailand immigration. Then you can enter again on the same 60 day visa (minus the days you used before and when you exited)

This is if your 60 day visa is a single entry visa.

If you have a multi entry visa then it doesn’t matter. And when you enter back into Thailand you will get another 60 days.

Plus. You can stay in 5 star hotels for super cheap. Best deals I think for quality and price.
