"tis a national thing, but just check with your nearest office if they do it... e.g. in Phuket there are 3 offices but only one will grant the covid extension.
Phuket will issue you an extension with an under consideration stamp. I don't know how long the under consideration stamp is. I don't think it's fixed. Could be 15 days or 30 days or anything in between.
You will need a tm30 filed in Phuket . You will need to close the loop in Phuket.
If your visa expires on the 16th (Sunday) you might want to consider going in on the 17th at Chonbury, or,consider postponing your trip to Phuket once extension is sorted.
Suwan you're unlikely to get a proper answer from this visa page. Greg Bewick has probably given you the best answer. You or your friend will need to network with the Thai-indian community, maybe they have a Facebook page. It's a very tough time but not impossible. Good luck.
what would normally happen in that case is that your COVID extension will start on the day you apply for it (changing reasons) and not added to the end of your current extension. (Also 22nd is a Saturday. )
sounds like you got your initial 30 day extension. Most, but not all, immigration offices want you to use the 30day extension first before moving on to COVID extensions.
