Hey everyone, just after some advice. I’m 29 years old and work in the mines. I travel to Thailand every two weeks on my RNR and from what I know Australia has a free visa and it says you can enter the country as much as you want as long as it’s from the air. My issue is, I’ve applied for a multi entry visa and currently waiting on it because I don’t want to be denied entry due to going over too many times and obviously I want to the right thing and I know immigration will start to become suspicious after a while. Is there any other visas I can get to stay in Thailand and still travel to Australia for work? It almost seems impossible just purely because of my age.

Is it possible to work 2 jobs with 2 work permit?

That he wants to work in Thailand. But he don't receive any opportunity from Thailand. Actually he is looking for restaurant work in Thailand because he was working in same field more than 5 years and also he wants waiter post.

And he don't have any opportunity but if he can come to Thailand on tourist visa and then he can find work in Thailand? Is it possible?

A friend of mine is on a non imm B original visa and extension ,(for a BOI company). He wants to leave his current company but still wants to work (either for a Thai company of by setting one up), the question he wants to know is if he can switch to an over 50 extension and Still work,?

Is a copy of Thai national ID card of the Employer enough to the Embassy to get internship-Visa? (ED) Or does it must to be a copy of passport?

Not a question here, just an update for people also staying long term on tourist visa.

After 3 years of staying in Thailand consecutively using METV, SETV and 30 day exempts, got pulled over at DMK immigration. Upon booking a flight to my home country within 30 days on the spot I was allowed entry one last time on tourist visa (60 day entry stamp)

I was told it’s possible to come back with any other visa. Did not need to show 10/20k THB. Had a valid METV but that didn’t help. It seemed like it didn’t really matter if I worked here or not because I appeared to be working here based on the length of my stay.

Details of my outward flight ticket were noted on the arrival card and one of the 2 officers seemed to be typing up a file on her laptop about the case.

Currently (since 2007) living with my wife in Thailand on over 50 retirement extensions to OA visa. Shortly I will be working for a Vientiane based Engineering project in Laos on business visa with work permit.

My role will most likely include inspecting and quality control on Engineering elements sub-contracted out some of which quite possibly to include Thai Companies.

Will I need a different Thai visa and work permit for visiting/inspecting the work progress/quality in Thailand.
