I am coming back to Thailand after being gone for 2 years. I was there during covid.

I am wanting to come in on a 2 month visa, extend for one more and then if I want to stay for longer, do a border run.

My question is, from your experience, are they allowing people to extend their visas for 3 months if you were here during covid?

I know that no one can clearly say it will or won't happen. I'm asking what your experience is if you were here during covid and then left for a while and came back! And did the let you back in if you left for a border run after 3 months?

Will STV visas be scrapped this year? What’s the alternative or is it back to border runs?

Tourist visa extention.

I arrived on visa exemption (30days AUS Pass), I have just got a 30 day tourist visa extention stamp. I wish to stay for approx. 90 more days, can I just get 2 more 30 day tourist visa extentions?

Hi bit of a dilemma, cut a long story short , have been on non immigrant o twelve month extension of stay finishe 11 feb . Changeing to marriage been married eight years ( should have done it first up!!) any how used money for extension during Covid to keep families assets on even keel, now my marriage visa money does not mature until 17 March ? My local immigration say cannot give me visa for 6o days can get tourist visa for 30 day then approx 7 days short. They are pleasant but straight any suggestions ? Thankyou

I came to Thailand around the end of Nov, from the Netherlands, under the Test and Go scheme.

We get a 30 day no visa needed allowance, and I extended once at immigration bureau in Bangkok for another 30 days a month later

I am now in Chiang mai.

Can I extend again for another 30 or more days?

Or is there any other visa i should get to extend?

Hi, I came here on a 60-day tourist visa (applied from NY Embassy) and will do my 30-day extension next week here in Chiang Mai - which will keep me til Feb.9th or so.

My question is can I get this extended again ie. special covid extension exemption?

I was planning on moving back to Vietnam in Feb - but with omicron, seems there re-opening is delayed.

So would like to stay in Thailand until things clear up.

If I can't, do you have any other suggested visa's (not interested in Elite Visa at this moment, but maybe in future).

Hi everyone, I want to know if i get a job offer while Im in Thailand, can I fly to a nearby third country, apply for work visa there and come back? Im asking because my STV visa cannot convert to any type of visa currently.

Hi, is there any other way to extend visa after getting a covid extension and still need to stay in the country ? Any other way to extend visa without leaving the country ?

I went to extend my visa. Hold a tourist visa. They said that I have been in Thailand for too long. It cannot be postponed again unless I buy a ticket to return home. Has anyone encountered this situation? I have extended it about 6 times. In Bangkok.
