you don't have to be on a tourist visa.... most people can't get a letter from embassy... what immigration are you using

Chelsea has given you sound advice .... I'd go to the immigration office and explain your circumstances WITH your Fiancee. See if you can work out a plan of action with them, possibly making use of whatever extensions might be available to you.
