My US passport book is filled, I only have 2 pages left, though it doesn’t expire for another 5 years. I made an appointment at the embassy in bkk to get it renewed with a 52 page. Which form do I print and take to the embassy, DS 82 or DS 11 .. im getting conflicting info online.
I am currently in my first one-year extension of a non-immigrant O retirement visa. I kept 800k balance for 3 months after receiving the extension, and it has dropped below that but remained above 400k since then.
I have also been transferring 65k+ every month since the start of the extension.
My question is whether i need to bring the balance back up to 800k for 2 months or 3 months before applying for the next extension, or can it remain 400k+ and rely on the past 12 months of 65k transfers?
I'm having trouble getting a definitive answer for this. I was just at Chaeng Watthana immigration to do a 90 day report and just can't seem to find the right person to give me the information.
I've been asked now a second time for additional documents, and they're asking for paperwork I've already submitted (employment contract, company registration paperwork, and no less than 17k.) I've provided ALL of these things at least once if not twice already. What does this mean? Are they just wanting to confirm, or is what I've submitted previously not what they're looking for? I need answers! I've emailed them a week ago but haven't heard back yet. Any insight will be helpful.
I was approved for DTV! But it took some time, and my flight back was too expensive to change, so I entered recently on a regular tourist visa. I know I have to go out and re-enter to initiate the change of status. Is there a deadline for this? Like use it or lose it? 🤷♀️
A question about 90 day reporting, following on from a previous post. If on DTV and I stay 180 days and don't report after 90 days, are there any ramifications further down, when I leave and then return to Thailand?
I read somewhere about a fine.
(Sorry, anonymous because I get annoyed with the keyboard warriors who see every post as a stupid question!)
Hii has anyone applied DTV from Spain? I see everyone is applying from border countries and I am not sure if my chances of being approved are lower from here. This is my choice. Soft muay thai course 1 month tiger eye gym Bangkok. Any advice is appreciated thanks 👍👍
I just did my first 90day report, but realize now that because I did it 8 days before 90days, now I am supposed to do it again on April 15th, while my DTV stamp expires April 23rd.
So it seems it would have been better to do it exactly at 90 days to stay the maximum days while only 90 day reporting 1 time.
Online reporting was rejected so I went in person. I am not sure if I will be accepted in the future.
Hi everyone, I've received our TM30s from the agency we've rented our condo from as a pdf on WhatsApp. He said we don't need to print them off just show them on our phone to immigration. I just want to double check that this is correct
