Anonymous participant not really sure you have made your scenario clear enough for an answer. Do you mean your set up in your home country? So you will need to go back and forth? The DTV is valid for 5 yrs from issue date and everytime you exit and re-enter Thailand you use your DTV and it gives you 180days everytime. When you reach 180days its up to you to leave or get an extension. (Extension requires a meeting at immigration with all original documents you apllied for and any renewal upto date things). So in a nutshell you can come and go as you please for 5 yrs with a DTV unless you do something that gets your DTV revoked or cancelled. Hope that helps

Considering the DTV is a 5yrs visa introduced in 2024 I'm guessing no-ones DTV has expired yet? If you've had it revoked or cancelled it could be a complete different answer to the case of the DTV just expiring I guess. If you have cancelled your DTV for legitimate reasons there shouldn't be any reason why you can't then enter on a normal tourist visa if you haven't been flagged for any reason?

There is currently not any of these checks for when you return and re-enter on the DTV, they only request the DTAC and Visa. Its unlikely you get asked any other questions but of course there COULD always be the chance they ask and they would be entitled to do so to ensure you meet the criteria. Just that the likelihood is very slim. Do bare in mind though as you have stated you no longer meet the criteria for the DTV so I am assuming it is "technically" void and no longer a valid. They just wouldnt know that unless you make it known? 👀🤷🏽‍♀️

There is no income requirement for the DTV only the saving 500k in account is needed for the muay thai one. They will want to see last 6 months to assess you are a working person woth current account but no minimum monthly wage slips. As above it will be helpful if you provide a cover letter/portfolio of your training and previous visits as well as your intentions whilst on DTV and how you will afford your stay.

Yes this is usual. You can just book a flexible or free cancellation flight and then cancel and rebook once approved. It also doesn't need to be a return. You don't have to enter on the flight that you put om your application.

Theres also a website that creates you a genuine checkable e-ticket for £16. I can't remember the name of it but it's been posted in this group before so you may have to do some searches.

I had the balance summary same day as I applied only in my Revolut travel account. And 3months of my daily current account (where my wages go)which never had the required amount in. It was accepted as that. The fact is you need to have that amount in your account at the time of applying. There was one post recently where the UK embassy had requested someome to show 30days but others like myself have done it where the money had been same day/same week. Tips for your documents make sure your remote working contract is highlighted, use companies house gov website and take a screenshot of its ltd status, if you can get your manager/director to write a letter to say they are aware and accept that you will be working from Thailand specifically that has been beneficial for some. Proof of current address you can use a utility or driving license. It may also be useful to write a cover letter explaining your evidence as well as stating you are aware of and will abide by all Kingdom laws as well as your intentions of visiting Thailand like plans etc. Good Luck 👍
