TLDR : Answer Summary
A UK national with £11,000 in their bank account at the time of application for the DTV remote work visa is likely to be approved, even if the funds were not present three months prior, particularly given that they earn over £5,000 per month with proof of earnings. Several commenters shared similar experiences where having sufficient funds and proof of income led to successful visa applications, indicating that while maintaining a stable balance is helpful, it may not be strictly necessary for more than one month prior to application.
I applied, £11k in account for 34 days, sent bank stats showing this + two lots of wages going in + payslips. Not asked any questions about this. Didn’t supply flight tickets either, wasn’t asked for them.
I got a request to get an official bank stamp from the branch on my application so went to my bank yesterday got a printout and she stamped it .Now just wait and see !
I’ve just applied from uk too. I was approved the first stage and have just responded to the “extra documents”
So just waiting to hear
Your financial situation sounds strong. They really are looking for the proof of earnings just as much. I actually ended up using chat GPT to get me through every step and it was brilliant. Maybe run your situation through it and see what it says
I applied from UK London Embassy, I had 1-3k in my account for majority of 3 month period and had 8k deposited 1 week before submission. Approved beginning of January 🙂
