if he was asked to and showed 30k cash, then the IO is wrong to deny entry based on this. You sure he had it in cash?

Going for a 4th back to back setv in Vientiane you will likely get the red stamp. I would advise you to apply elsewhere.

You can get a single entry tv from surrounding countries. You can also get non immigrant visas, if you fulfil the requirements.

They do ask for company registration info if you say self employed. She’d be better of writing her own employment letter maybe?

if you have residednce card for the UAE, you may be able to apply there. Check the thai embassy website

2.5 years and counting...

there is no official limit, but the more you have the more likely you are to be grilled by immigration when coming back in. Ive been grilled once.
