there is no official limit, but the more you have the more likely you are to be grilled by immigration when coming back in. Ive been grilled once.

a friend was just granted an METV from London. from his 6 months statements the money had been in around 4 months. Apply for the METV, if they do deny it, they will issue an SETV

Tullio Ferri you can get a re-entry permit (multi - if required) from immigration or at the airport if you want to travel and maintain your visa

That isnt right. You can extend for 30 days. Consulates don’t necessarily know what immigration do, They aren’t connected.

i believe you need to apply as near to your travel date as you can, as the visa validity is 6 months from when its issued.
