But the 60day visa, as described by tod, can be extended in country for a further 30 days (1900b), giving you 90 days total.

Just called for an appointment and was told its 2800b. And clarified that the service fee is 900b..!

its the usual apply in the morning, then collect the following day in the afternoon. Not a busy consulate, and a decent place to hangout for a few days. I'd recommend using uber there for all your travels (its all legal) and saves having to deal with money and taxis. traffic is hellish, take a uber bike if u dont mind.

I took with me all 3 proofs: flight out of thailand within the 60, hotel booking, and bank statement. I gave em it all, and they kept it. This was couple of weeks ago.
