How can I get my third 60-day visa after a confusing re-entry situation in Thailand?

Hello, needing some help here if any one can.

I entered Thailand on the 1st of January 2019 with a METV from the UK. I left Thailand for the second time on the 28th of June. My METV was due to expire on the 13th of June but I went to immigration in May and was granted a 30 day extension(which ran past the expiry date). I also explained that I would be leaving on June 28th and returning in around 1 month. IO said that this was OK and was given a re entry permit. Upon returning to Thailand at Poi Pet, I was told that I had no visa as there was no stamp in the passport, regardless of the re entry permit. Got in eventually on a visa exempt stamp. Is there anything I can do to get my third 60 day visa as I have proof of when I got my re entry permit?

Many thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user describes their situation regarding a Multiple Entry Tourist Visa (METV) after entering Thailand. They were granted a 30-day extension before leaving for a month but encountered issues upon re-entry, as authorities claimed their visa had expired. The comments clarify that the extension does not change the expiration date of the visa, and the user may not be eligible for additional 60-day extensions.

Nope, you can only get 60 day stamps in a 6 month METV until the "enter before" or "valid until" date. That visa is only valid for 6 months from the date it's issued

What was the enter before date on the VISA itself

You wont get a third 60 day stamp as the visa had expired. The re entry would have only maintained the end date of the extension - which as you were staying out 1 month from the 28th it would have also expired.

What is the actual expiry date of the METV? 30 days extension in May means your Re-Entry Permit was to keep your extra 30 days of stay, not extend the validity of your METV.
