When filling out the application for Vientiane what do input for the following fields?

1. Duration of stay in Thailand? Do I just write 180 days?

2. Name and contact of guarantor in Thailand?

3. Name and contact of guarantor in Laos?

4. Travelling by? Can I just write “by land”

Also if it accepted to fill out the form digitally and print it out or do they prefer old school and hand written?

Anyone know the Cost of a Visa on arrival in Laos, Vientiane for a US national?

Has someone applied in some embassy, paid, and got rejection only on the day of passport pickup?

Hello everyone. I am in Chiang Mai at the moment. On February 23rd I need to leave Thailand and get new visa in Laos or Cambodia. I need a real visa, can't enter on 45 days exemption. In 2011. I got Thai visa in Vientiane super easy in 2 days and was wondering if it's still the same situation. The other option is Cambodia, but I prefer to go to Laos because I would like to visit Luang Prabang again.

Second question is about transportation to Laos from Chiang Mai. Do you know some company that do transfers to either Luang Prabang or Vientiane and how much is the price approximately?

Today I came to Vientiane to get tourist visa.

Many people was rejected but they still get 30days stamp in Nong Khae .

My documents were cheking very closely : Return ticker, hotels, bank account.

They said that deccision will be taken tomorrow.

QUESTION : what should I expect? I mean is this good or bad for my me? Also if they want to reject me they would do it immidiately right?

Hi everyone. Anyone got any idea how I can cancel an appointment made on the Vientiane Visa sight? I've looked everywhere and I can't find a cancel button.... Please help.

I just tried to use website to register online for appointment in Vientiane for visa. But, it doesn’t work, it says that my name or my passport already registered. I didn’t get any email from this website. I’ve tried to contact support, but I am unable to send a message to them. If you know what to do please let me know.

Those going to Vietiane for visas.

I'm reading in other places that the booking system is full and no appointments are available until the 13th March. Some say 19th March. I've not tried the system myself.

I suggest not leaving it until the last minute.
