Hi all,

Just a couple of questions; I’m on a yearly extension of a PE (elite) entry.

Ive never done a 90 day report in person - first time by elite staff, then after that I’ve done it online.

I have some travel planned which means the dates dont line up for me to submit via the elite office.

My due date is 16/04 - I have a flight to phuket on the 1st (for at least 2 weeks)

what is the window for reporting in person - Can I go tomorrow (mon 29th)?

Do I report at MTT?

I did discuss with elite, to see if I could get it done in Phuket, but with the TM30 reporting system being down, it sounds like this is not an option.

My fallback option, if I cant file earlier here in bangkok, is to leave my passport with thai elite, let them file on my behalf, and travel without my passport... 🤔

Any better options you can suggest?

TIA

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user, holding an Elite visa, inquired about submitting a 90-day report and the reporting process given their travel plans. Key points from the responses indicate that the report can be submitted in person within a 15-day window before the due date, with MTT in Bangkok being the appropriate place for reporting. Alternatively, mailing the report is an option, provided it is sent 14 days before the due date and includes specific documentation. The possibility of filing in Phuket was also discussed, contingent on the TM30 reporting system.

To do a 90 day report by mail in Bangkok you need to postmark the envelope 14 days before the due date, and include a stamped self addressed envelope to get the receipt mailed back

Include the following in the packet:

filled out TM47

previous 90 day report receipt

copies of

-data page of your passport

-visa/extension

-most recent entry stamp

-TM 6 departure card

-TM30 receipt

Mail it here;

Or if you want to make it simple, just post your form in by tracked mail 15 days before the due date, and enjoy your holiday in Phuket instead of worrying about bureaucracy. As an Elite Visa holder you're entitled to kick back.

thanks for your help all

The rule is that you send all necessary documents mainly signed copies, not include the original passport, by EMS dated until 14days in advance (in bangkok) of your due date.

ok, so reading the immigration website, it says they accept copies of the passport, and that I must send it AT LEAST 15 days before the due date, so tomorrow would work for this

@Bo***
I was just reading yours (and
@El***
) comments about the mail option in another thread - after reading, I’m still not clear exactly when it needs to be sent in by? of course this means posting my passport also right? so its the same as letting thai elite file for me, in that I wont have my passport?

Jon Wheatley. Send it EXACTLY 15 days before due date. Send EMS so you can track it. No you do not send passport. It's same as doing it online. Send copies of Passport ID page, last entry stamp, TM6, TM30 and your last 90-day report.

And send a return stamped envelope so they can post back your receipt

Ask the elite support for advice on this.

You may be able do one by mail as well

To file a 90 day report, you have a window of 15 days prior to 7 days after the due date without a fine. You will have to use MTT if you are in Bangkok.

The 90 day report and the TM30 system is down, however hotels still file the TM30 as normal. The Elite (PE) visa is a tourist visa, so *IN THEORY* if you show your TM30 in Phuket, you should be able to file the 90 day report in Phuket.
