Greeting! 2,5 weeks ago I had covid infection and recently I got a certificate of recovery from my doctor. Yesterday I tested negative for the pre-flight PCR test, so im ready to fly out to Phuket tomorrow. Still I am abit worried about day 1 and day 5 PCR test. I have read about people with recovery certificate that test neg pre-flight but positive in Thailand. I have read on Thai government webpage that you dont have to isolate/quarantine when testing positive if you have a valid certificate of recovery. I wonder, will I be exempt from isolation in Phuket if I test positiv on day 1 or 5, even if I had a negative test pre-flight?

Hello everyone, I do hope you are all well and having a good night. I like to ask something. I'm planning to visit Phuket on exempt visa with the 30 extension. They require a 30 days return ticket. Can I purchase a 60 days return ticket for that or there's a risk they will not let me board the plane or maybe I will also have problem with the immigration in Phuket? Is there another solution to this? Thank you very much in advance for your help. Have a peaceful night.

I've left my passport at my mates condo and he's now gone to phuket. I plan on going as well. Do you think it will be okay just to have a photo of my passport if i go to phuket via car?

Thank you

Headed to Thailand soon, some confusion about the right covid test to enter the country. On line it says the rapid antigen test with results in an hour. But Thai embassy says it needs to be a PCR. That test takes 1-2 days for results, but needs to be within 72 hours.

Anyone no if a rapid test (antigen) is excepted?

Hi there,

I'd like to ask what the deal is with tourist visas. I have family that wants to come over from South Africa. What are the options and how do you go about obtaining a visa or stamp at the moment and what are quarantine options. TIA

(Wanting to visit phuket)
