TLDR : Answer Summary
Starting from September 18, the Thai embassy in Paris will begin issuing real e-visas, allowing applicants to obtain their visas without visiting the embassy or sending their passports. This change marks an advancement in the e-visa process, following similar systems in other countries, and is limited to individuals holding a French passport or those with long-term residency in France.

It's the next stage of the Evisa process.

It's starts the end of September. Like all the country's using the Evisa system, you need to hold a French passport or have long term leave to remain in France to use it.

All countries will be on it soon.
