And its normal too take 3 working days to get a visa in Manila. They also want exactly what the Embassy websites says they require.

 yes that system isn't run by VFS Global unlike the VOA systems or the system being employed in London, Beijing etc

 no. What I meant, is are the Bar codes on the visas scanned by immigration when you enter Thailand? I don't know what the Bar code is used for or what information it contains?

 didn't he and immigration spend the day there when they closed the Embassy a day or so before the system was put in place? I heard from a reliable source, this booking system wasn't the idea of the Embassy?
