I am currently in Vientiane in the process of applying my Non-B visa and need help as to the order in which things need to occur.
I have all the paperwork needed to apply for my non b visa. Now that I am out of the country, in which order do I need to complete the steps to obtaining my new visa via the Vientiene Embassy.
Has anybody done the DTV visa for medical treatment?
I need to get some demtal implants.
It Takes about 6 months to complete the implant process.
Would one dental implant be enough to get the DTV Visa or do I need to make the treatment longer? Already had consultation with the dentist and they are willing to write a letter and treatment plan.
Thanks.
Also, after reading that new article about the delays, right now, where is the best place to apply for DTV visa?
I saw somebody just got it in Vientiane, Laos, 2 business working days but then I saw someone 3 weeks.
I submitted my application on Monday in Vientianne and had 2 requests for further documents (passport picture and financial evidecne. I uploaded those and yesterday the status went to pending approval. But today I got 2 emails again asking for the same documents. But if I login to the E-visa website it doesn't show I have to upload the documents like last time. It's still showing pending approval with no way to upload any extra documents. Has anyone experienced the same?
Could anyone here provide me some clarity regarding the Thai evisa? I am working in Khon Kaen and have applied to get the Non-B visa in Vientiane. I have opted to pay at the Vientiene embassy.
The embassy advised that I wait between 10-15 working days for a decision, but someone who got the visa told me that they went to Vientiane shortly after submitting an online application and got the visa within 2 days via an agent.
I want to apply for a Digital Nomad DTV Visa on 26th February at the Vientiane Embassy in Laos. My occupation is Business Owner, so I would like to know which documents I need to provide. I’ve noticed in this group that the embassy sometimes asks for additional documents, like a contract agreement or a work contract (B2B). Could you kindly clarify?
I am having trouble booking an appointment at the Thai Embassy in Vientiane to pay for my Visa. Does anybody know where I can book it? The site is down, I've tried Thai Embassy's site either, Vientiane wasn't on the list..
* According to the web site of the Thai embassy in Vientianne, one must "Book an appointment at [[members only]/). Walk-ins will not be accepted." I have tried that link for a while but it is not taking me anywhere. Can someone tip me on how to get an appointment?
* Out of curiosity, I noticed that the Thai Consulate in Savannakhet has the option to schedule appointments for DTV visa. By any chance, has anyone in this group tried in Savannakhet? Was the experience similar to Vientiane? Thanks.
DTV approved!! I wanna share my experience with the applying members. I got lots of help from the members of this group. Thank you everyone 🙏🙏🙏.
I got approved in Vientiane, Laos. My walk-in appointment on Dec 11 and collected my passport on Dec 13.
(Note: After Dec 20 Thai Embassy in Vientiane will be closed until January 1 to upgrade their system to e-visa application)
My previous visa was in Thai language school.
I am working remote for a Singapore-based company. I applied under "workcation as a remote worker" category.
This is the list of documents I submitted
- Letter of request for visa approval
- Filled out Visa application form
- Portfolio (Resume)
- Education background and career related certificates
- Employment Contract
- Payslips since contract started
- Verification Letters from my Employer Company (employment certificate, remote work verification, visa sponsorship letter)
- Company registration docs (Singapore ARCA docs since my employer is Singapore-based)
- Bank statement 6-month (some say 3-month okay but I submitted 6 to be safe. I used Bangkok Bank account)
My employment contract with the Singapore-based company started in October. I submitted my Oct, Nov payslips. But the officer gave them back to me over the counter.
I wrote a neat cover letter "Request for Visa Approval" mentioning my purpose to apply for DTV. The officer carefully read it and asked me a few questions about my remote job.
I saw that the most important documents the officer carefully checked were
- Employment contract
- Company verification letters
- Company registration docs (Singapore ARCA)
- Bank statement
I submitted a 6-month statement of my Thai Bank account I opened with my language school visa.
The officer carefully checked transactions at the end of each month. I think it should be an account you are using regularly.
Lucky for me my company supported all the necessary documents and everything went well at the embassy.
I got lots of help from the members of this group. Thank you everyone.🙏🙏 🙏
And I hope everyone will get approved and live in your dream country.
For walk in embassies, anybody has seen a rejection after they accepted your documents, checked them and collected your passport as well as your fee payment?
