 friends of mine cross there when we fish from Ranong. They are Malay and Singaporean passport holders. Sometimes they get lots of grief. Sometimes no problem.

If you really do need to get that passport notarized, are you certain the UK Embassy in Bangkok will do it before you waste your time? I say that because there is very little they will notorise there any longer. 99% of documents need to be done in London.
