Hi, guys. I'm leaving the Kingdom this week and returning on 29 April. How soon do I need to submit the TM30 to immigration once I've arrived? TIA.

TLDR : Answer Summary
Upon returning to Thailand, you typically have 24 hours to submit the TM30 form to immigration. However, this can vary based on individual circumstances and the specific immigration officer you encounter. In cases where travel distances are significant, officers might extend the deadline to 48 hours. For ease, consider using the drive-thru service at the Phuket immigration office, which has been described as quick and efficient.

Remember not every immigration office cares about the TM.30. We are seeing more and more of them that do BUT always check with your immigration office to see if they're doing it or not.

HI
@Gar***
. Make it easy on yourself and go through Phuket Immi's drive thru service on Tuesday, 30 April. I've done it twice...easy peasy, bud. In and out in 2 mins.

He found it even stranger when someone shoved a burger and fries at him.

It was at this time he realised he'd gone in to Macdonald's.

, I'm on my motorcycle so no matter, but friends in cars say it's no biggie.

The strangest part is how quick it is. The attendants even smile! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

That IS a good service they have (y) but don't you find it strange that when you drive up the window is on the passenger side of the car?

Where are you . The rule in general is 24 hours . But it depends on you immigration office and the officer concerned . I live 2.5 hours drive from my immigration office so the officer I usually see allows me 48 hours . They are good people and take into account if you have a long journey back to Thailand .

you have 24 hours from the time you get back to where ever it is your address is registered to file the TM.30
