mate no offence but staying in the country is literally a stayed requirement and all over every embassies guidelines for that visa. It didn't remove your right to enter and they should have still let you enter if you had a tourist visa. But the Dtv application you just royally messed up and everyone here is giving you good advice around that.

by leaving the country you applied in before your application was approved you just voided your application. Some of us had to physically leave Thailand after literally living here, apply for that visa in places like Laos or Vietnam and wait weeks there at our own expense for the embassy to approve our visas. You will need to do the same if you want to apply for it again.

Anonymous participant your most welcome. Wishing you the best of luck and good health on your journey into Laos.

Check out Vang Vieng while you're in Laos, place is fun and awesome and pretty lawless lol. Lots of hot balloon rides and happy bars.

Avoid buying weed from tuk tuks in Vientiane. A lot of people get setup that way

In terms of the visa your able to return same day without issues and I literally flew to Malaysia for lunch and back without issues. Whether the land borders work that way without an agent or varying policies I guess varies.

DTV_BegPecker ultimately it comes down to whether she has the documents theyl expect her to present, which will be updated documents of what she provided to apply for the visa. Income stuff other proofs etc. the reason is just to show she isn't a grifter cheating the system which matters. There's a volunteer in this group who basically told me what I just told her re: the 15+ day requirement, documents etc. reality is they don't like doing it, but it's possible. Different offices probably have different policies around how to handle it also

If it's easy for you to provide updated versions of all the evidence you provided to get approved for the visa and you have a minimum of 16 days left before the first 180 days ends then I hear it's a bit of a run around and they don't like doing it but it's totally possible to get an extension of a further 180 days without leaving. Sounds like you have a valid reason and in my experience Thai people even in immigration offices have empathy.

Your account number is written on every cheque you give out. Do you trust those recipients more than you trust the Thai embassy? 😂 No...don't blank it out you'll be rejected for insufficient proof of they can't see the account details.

TM30 is a legal requirement for your landlord and is a criminal offense to ignore. he/she should basically be filing tm30s for all tenants which i think they can just do online themselves. Plus airbnb, or any rental/accomodation offering less than 30 day stay needs a hotel licence registered with the DOPA. Thats also a criminal offence (you can check the register online to see if he/she/thehotel is on there.

if it were me, ide just send her/him a screenshot of googles advice on it which will be its a legal requirement for both of you. If they cant because their subletting they need to get the real landlrod to do it. If none of that works, leave. you dont need problems with your own visa over someone elses dodgyness lol

They won't accept sponsorship they will want to see its in your account and they'll want to see how you support yourself also in terms of income. It's not a visa people can game play it's been put together to replace the game play with reassurance lol

Were everyone in the family on Dtv? They usually only do that with short term tourist visas and visa exempt entries like the 60 days etc.
