DTV with sponsor - help needed

Hello everyone, I just turned 20 and I’m applying from Rome.

I’m a professional Muay Thai & Kickboxing fighter, and my goal is to spend one full year training daily in Thailand to significantly improve my level and build a real name in the sport. After carefully reviewing the available visa options, I believe the DTV seems to be the most suitable for my situation.

My father is willing to financially sponsor me and provide both his bank statements and a formal sponsorship letter.

I understand that sponsorship is officially allowed according to the website, but I would really appreciate hearing from anyone who has practical experience with this. Are applications with a sponsor generally approved without issues?

For reference:

• My father can show approximately 4 to 8 million baht in his bank account over the last 6 months.

• My personal bank account currently has around 350,000 baht.

Would this be okay?

Additionally, are there any extra documents of the sponsor aside statement and letter I could include to strengthen my application?

Thank you so much everyone and sorry if this has been discussed before, but even with the search tab I couldn’t find much honestly. Thank you 🙏

Hi is the 500k required?

Or is it enough to provide a stable monthly income and work contract?

Anyone can give me information for the Germany Frankfurt consulate

If the 500k is needed do they accept sponsorship just to show the money?

Hi, just for clarification.

To the ones already holding a DTV.

A ) Can the 500.000 be in a savings account?

As in, can I show two separate accounts for both- the last six months freelance income and the 500.000 baht deposited somewhere?

Both are in my name.

Or, B ) Does it all need to be the same account?

C ) Has anyone successfully listed a sponsor, or would you not recommend this?

Thank you 🙏

Hi everyone, sorry for a question. my parents are willing to sponsor me for 500,000 baht to obtain a bank deposit certificate for my DTV application. Can they transfer the funds a few days before my application? Can I print out a current account bank deposit certificate and write a sponsorship letter to use for the DTV application?

I am presently waiting for my approval for the DTV. Once approved (hopefully) I plan to sponsor my husband and children. Do I need to prove the 500k baht for each person? Thanks! (FYI applying as a digital nomad)

Hello, regarding the 15k usd / 500k baht, what are the seasoning rules? Can I just put the money in my daughters account for one month then she use it to show she has the funds?
