I had 60 day tourist visa and spent about 30 days of it then moved other countries.

If I want to re enter again do I have to prepare something?

Also they haven't stamped my passport for the first entry.

I’m seeing some people are getting questioned when coming back into Thailand with dtv visas..

If I had about 350k baht in the bank and the rest cash to show for my funds would this be acceptable has anyone had this experience yet?

Has anybody re-entered Thailand with a new passport and the DTV issued on the previous passport?

Am currently in TH and going to india for a few weeks before planning on coming back. Have been seeing multiple posts of people being turnt away because of X Y & Z but just wondering if maybe somebody could help/advise me on what I should do... I've heard it's stricter getting in through the airport posed to a land crossing and I've seen somebody mention about pre booking a agent to meet you at the airport to get you in? I've been traveling to all surrounding countries over last 6 months and my passport shows that I just don't want to get turnt away and have to stress in the airport! Tia

(edited) The DTV launched in July last year, so during the past couple of weeks, the first visa holders who stayed the full initial 180 days should have started leaving and re-entering Thailand. For anyone who has recently done this, could you please tell us of your experiences. I am particularly curious about people who obtained their visa based on something short term (like a four month cooking class), and whether they were scrutinised by Immigration Officers on whether their original DTV justification is ongoing. Greetings, everyone! I am completing my 90 days soon. Is it okay if I fly to Malaysia and stay a couple of days there and then fly back to Thailand? Will there be a problem entering Thailand? Will I get another 60 days ?

I currently have the Visa on Arrival stamp and can stay in Thailand until March 11. However, I will be traveling to Vietnam for 10 days in early February to apply for the DTV visa. What happens if the visa application is denied and I have to return to Thailand? Can I still stay until March 11? Technically, I’ve already used up my allowed days with the tourist visa since I was here for 90 days before. But first I need to go back to my condo in case I have to leave... 😬

Can I go abroad from Nong Khai gate and come back in the same day? I have a work permit visa right now, and I need to cancel it.

For those with DTV visa - just did my first exit trip to Vietnam (5 day trip) and re entry to dmk. No questions asked, no issues, another 6 month stamp.

what happens if I enter Thailand before my DTV is approved? Would I still be able to re-enter Thailand later with the DTV in about a month or so?
