I am travelling to Thailand in January/2026 for 4 weeks. Would I have a problem re-entering Thailand in April? and then apply for a Non-O visa for marriage. I have a visa-exempt passport.
I am a freelancer holding worcation DTV, currently staying in Chiang Mai. I am coming up to my first 180-day and have already bought a round-trip ticket (CNX- a city in Vietnam- CNX). I am staying in Vietnam for 3 days.
What issues should I expect at CNX immigration when I return? Thank you in advance.
I need to do a border run as I am coming up to 180 days. I am planning to fly to Siem Reap for two nights holiday. I have a DTV remote worker visa. Can I expect any issues when returning ?
Hello. On December 15. I have been in Thailand for 90 days. 2 months on arrival card and one month extension. That’s why I am taking a vacation to the Philippines dec 14. But with the new boarder run rules I am afraid to get rejected when I try to re enter the country. As I have understood it. I can only be in the country of 90 days a year without long term visa such as DTV. Have anyone recently tried to re enter Thailand after a 90 day period with just arrival visa?
If I try to come back to Thailand dec 26, will that be a risk? Should I wait to January, so that hopefully i can get 90 more days since it’s a new year?
Sorry that it’s not a direct DTV question. You can delete it you want.
Hi! Last December I arrived to Thailand and left for a 3 week long trip to Cambodia before exceeding the 60 days, around the early days of February. I came back to Bangkok at the end of February. Stayed until the end of April, then returned to Hungary, my home country.
I travelled back to Thailand at the end of September (so I spent 5 months outside of the country) and will fly to Vietnam this weekend. I have never exceeded the 60 days before leaving and never had a visa extension. I plan returning to Thailand in the middle of December. Should I worry about getting rejected and start thinking about applying for a visa instead of getting the usual stamp at arrival?
I spent 4 months in Thailand this year on a visa exeption (January to April)
And I’m planning to go back again. Is it possible for me to travel there again a third time this year in December, or do I have to wait until next year, since I’ve already enterd 2 time this year?
Hi All. I have never had an issue in getting approved my 90 day report, submitted online. But this time, it has been rejected 3 times. I did leave Thailand a month ago, for a two week trip to UAE and Germany. I had landlord resubmit my tm30 since my return, but still rejected. Not sure what I am now doing wrong. Is my entry to Thailand on the TM47, my original arrival date, or is it now the date i returned from my trip abroad? Thoughts, suggestions? Thanks in advance, much appreciated.
I have been in Thailand since 13 th of July . First I got a stay of 60 days visa free exemption and I extended it for another month and on 10 of October I have to leave Thailand. Now I am planning to visit Hanoi for one week starting on October 4th flying from Bangkok. Will I get another 60 days when I come back to Thailand?
I am asking this because some people say it is not possible because the sum of your stays in Thailand cannot be more than 90 days within 6 months?
I would be happy if someone can give me some precise information from first hand who has experienced this.
