I agree that it sounds fishy. Not meant to impune anyone, but unfortunately agents have poor reputations, e.g. no paperwork, poor communication, move you around schools, hold your pay, not following through on any number of promises. sometimes it all works out, but i have read so many unhappy stories.

is there a difference in 90 day reports if I apply for the original O-visa inside versus outside Thailand? For example, if I apply for original O-visa outside of Thailand, do I need to leave Thailand every 90 days, or can 90 day report be done at local immigration office?

may I ask, if the original O visa is obtained inside/outside of Thailand, is there a difference in how it is extended? For example, if I apply for the first visa in Vientiane, does that mean I must leave the country every 90 days? And if I apply within Thailand, I just do 90 day report? I'm sorry if I am not clear, but I read that if you apply first outside Thailand, you must leave every 90 days, but if you apply from within Thailand, you just do 90 day report.
