Is it possible to get the 60 day family visit extension if you are on the visa amnesty? For example, if the amnesty ends on July 31, could you go to the local immigration office on July 30 and apply for the family visit extension? If so, are there any factors affecting the granting of this extension, in addition to the normal rules?

TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, theoretically, it is possible to apply for a 60-day family visit extension if you are currently on visa amnesty, as long as you do it before the amnesty expires on July 31st. However, practical complications may arise, and it is advisable to check directly with your local immigration office for specific guidance and any additional factors that may affect your extension approval.

IN theory yes, BUT in practicality who knows,

Amnesty runs until july 31st so we're two MONTHS from knowing how that is really gonna work out..

Contact your immigration office and ask them how they are gonna handle it

If you already using this so called amnesty, what is the benefit to apply for a new Extension on 30 July?

Why not wait for the new announcement, it could be extended with an extra 30 days or it could be lifted.

But the announcement will instruct all how to proceed.
