Thailand is certainly more expensive to live in than 5 years ago but it is no where near 80% of the cost of living in Australia

you just like changing things to suit your argument. You have stated many times they changed the rule which is complete BS. You appear to be the clown 🤡

the rules rarely change, enforcement of the rules do change. This guy was fairly obviously trying to take advantage of visa exemptions instead of applying for the correct visa

that is at the discretion of the immigration officer on the day. But you shouldn’t have a problem doing this once, but you may well have a problem trying it a third time

you don’t have to do a border run to get the additional 30 days, you get that extension in any immigration office. After that you have to leave the country & re enter for another 60 days exemption but that is at the discretion of the immigration officer you get on the day

You fly in and get 60 days visa exempt, not a visa. You can extend that exemption another 30 days. Then you must leave the country

You should be fine if this is only your second time in Thailand this year.

But ultimately it depends on the immigration officer you get and their mood that day.

Most times you will be fine.

Extend your stay in Indonesia

It will be a lot more expensive if your DTV application is denied because you didn’t follow the rules.
