Chiang Mai is a great option for slightly cheaper schooling options and guardian visa or DTV could be your solution until the children are 18 or so.

I'm pretty sure you apply at the same time. There's a course in CM with some cooking and more language. DM. I'm on DTV soft power to learn Muay Thai. Applied in Taiwan though.

I'm pretty sure all of Africa now applies through South Africa. I checked multiple countries in the EVisa system and they all said SA. Even ones that previously used Nigeria and Egypt.
