Writing this as I think it's interesting to share. So I landed at CNX Airport, queueing in lane & later I just noticed I am the only one with DTV print-out; it's quite obvious because my I printed my DTV card in A6, slightly bigger than my passport.
Just within 5 minutes, one of the IO escorted me to another line (*the right one to be exact and I can tell I skipped 4-5 people before me, but I just followed what the IO asked me to; he's nice btw*). Gave my passport & DTV print-out. She only asked me if I flew from Singapore. I reckon' she's making sure because I was doing connecting flight from Bali to Chiang Mai via Singapore.
And that's all. No other question, no horror story, stamped, I thanked her, she nodded and smiled.
I was wondering if anyone has any experience specifically in the remote worker/digital nomad category. I am a retired military veteran that has a pension and receive disability. My intention is to relocate to Thailand and apply for the DTV and have my wife and son as dependents. My question is will my pension and disability count as “earned income” outside of Thailand?
I just applied for a DTV (Workcation (digital nomad/remote worker/foreign talent/freelancer)in London. Has anyone applied recently? how long did it take to get approved?
I have applied for DTV 5 weeks ago at the Thai Consulate Frankfurt. It still sits at "Document Check" since day 1. I've tried every possible channel to reach them, including mail/phone/social media as well as other consulates, embassies and foreign ministry to no avail. Some replied but couldn't help. Has anyone an idea how long I will likely have to wait?

I attached files with the table of content I attached in each pdf.
Remote worker visa, applied from Da Nang (Ho Chi Minh embassy)
5 Jan: Applied
8 Jan: Doc Request 1
14 Jan: Doc Request 2
16 Jan: Visa granted (email at 7:15pm)
You can see from the progression of my documents for what they asked for. I haven't attached the initial Digital Work pdf screenshot here, as I overwrote it when I resent it for the 1st Doc Request.
Hello, just wondered if anyone has recently applied for remote worker DTV from either Taiwan or Vietnam and if they have any tips on the process/documents. I was going to apply from Taiwan in January but looks like Hanoi in Vietnam is a better option right now? Any advice is MUCH appreciated. Thanks ☺️ 🙏🏻
