You can't get a nonB visa for teaching without a job offer and paperwork from the school. Just get a tourist visa and look for a job when you're here. Not having a degree will reduce your options, but it is not insurmountable.

The fine doesn't escalate, so you could just wait until you have to visit Immigration and then pay it, if they notice you missed the report.

True but still advisable to keep them legal, especially if you plan to school them in Thailand.

I guess so, if it's a relatively short trip. My then girlfriend did it for 2 years but got sick of the monthly trip to Cambodia. Mind you, marrying a Laotian isn't easy either!

Yeah. My wife is Laotian too. The problem with only 30 days is having to do monthly border runs. You should marry so she can piggyback on your Extension 😉
