Can a Lao passport holder living in Thailand apply for a new passport at the Lao Embassy in Bangkok?
If a Lao passport holder, living in Thailand on an annual Extension as a dependent, needs a new Lao passport can they do this at the Lao Embassy in Bangkok or do they have to go back to Laos to do it?

a Loas passport has nothing to do with Thai Visa.

OPThanks. Then presumably at passport control at the airport in Bangkok we just show the Extension stamp and Re-entry permit in the cancelled passport? Then get them transferred into the new passport later?

OPWe've tried. Emails are not replied to and they don't pick up the phone - hence the question here in case someone has experience of doing this.
