I did 90 day report at Chaengwattana today . USA passport. First report. Non O retirement. About 1.5 hours. Did not ask for TM30 or bankbook, ฿800k method. My landlord had filed but did not get receipt in mail after recent one. They said next time bring passport copies but they did it for me. I also did multi entry reentry permit, no issues, about 1 hour.

In the future you can do a 90 report online even a reentry but for the reentry you must go to immigration but it’s very fast in and out . Also you can have someone do your 90 day report for you like a girlfriend, wife or friend.

I try to avoid Monday’s and Friday’s. Generally I just show up when the doors open. Often a 90 day report takes me less than an hour.

I changed address and even provinces multiple times during my last 16 years in Thailand. Never had any problem with Immigration, just showed up with the correct documents and reported the new address.

What is the problem? If you move or nicely said change address you go within 24 hours after arriving at that address to report it at Immigration. Most likely the same as you did in your home country at city hall.

Yeah, 90-day reports are usually pretty straightforward and uncomplicated. Glad you experienced the usual.

My only problem, ever, was just after I had moved—trying to authenticate a new address. Oh My Buddha, what a circus.

: It was a simple 90-day report. Normally, I really don’t have to do an authentication of address until my retirement extension comes up. But, alas, the rules changed for that particular 90-day visit.
