I couldn't make an appointment for me and my family's annual extension (Section N), so will need to get queue tickets. We are staying in the hotel at the govt. complex, so I will be able to get there when it opens (8am?). Can I get queue tickets for all three of us if I have everyone's passport, so that my family can wait in the hotel until nearer the time we'll be seen?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about the process of obtaining queue tickets for their family's annual visa extension (Section N) at the immigration office, while only one member is able to go on-site. Comments suggest that getting in line early is crucial due to high demand, and while possessing all necessary passports might allow for issuing tickets for family members, it ultimately depends on the discretion of the immigration officer. The conversation touches on the uncertainty of processing delays and the importance of arriving before opening hours.

Just to give you people an idea of the sheer number of people out there, this was Section N (students, teachers, people raising kids on ed visas) at 9:30 this morning

Very annoying that it has become so difficult to make appointments. This will be my 19th annual extension and the appointment system was a big improvement. What happened? Anyway we're resigned to it taking the whole day. Fun, fun, fun ๐Ÿ˜„

Thanks. I'll have their passports but my HR dept. have the paperwork. If we get there after 8am and get a high queue number, is it guaranteed that we will be processed that day even if it's not until the afternoon? Presumably some people don't arrive until much later in the day and still get processed on the day?

if you get there after 8 you're going to be with the zombie horde that gets in AFTER the first 200 people get in (the ones that got the chairs).

It's anyone's guess what queue you'll pull in section N ๐Ÿ˜•

Good thing you can scan the QR code on the queue ticket and then it will send you a message when it's getting to your number ๐Ÿ˜›

Sincerely good luck with it

Thanks Tod. We're actually going on Thursday, but will still keep an eye out for anything MAGA/Kiss related!

The QR code info is very useful. I'm going to accept being part of the zombie horde and just enjoy spending the day there! We have to come up from our home in Rayong, so it will be 'holiday'. I'll let you know how we get on.

They have a really REALLY good food fair going on in the main area now.

Today wasn't busy, there were only about 400 people at the door at 8:15 when they let them in

I also noticed they now give out queues to get in up to the 300's and have that group stand to the side,. so they let that first group of 200 in, then the next group (in groups of 10) in until those people are in then they let the zombie horde (queue-less people) in after that

Good luck, a friend was there to day at 7, got number 315 to get in the door, got inside and got queue number 179 for section N for his ED extension ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

they give out queue numbers for Section N until they close for lunch

If you get a queue you get seen that day.

I'm heading out to Chaengwattana right now so look for a guy in a Trump hat with a KISS bad t-shirt on walking with a cane and say hi if you see me ๐Ÿ˜›

You need to get out there SOON and get in the queu outside the door.

That section N is a nightmare section and you'll get a pretty high number if you show up at 8 and get in the queue with the hundreds of people outside the door waiting to get in

There are 200 chairs next to the immigration office where the first 'batch' of people sit and they get in first, THEN the zombie horde who didn't get one of the chairs.

As long as you have all their paperwork/passports, etc you MIGHT be able to get queues for them at the queue counter once you get inside, but it's gonna come down to the officer handing out the tickets.

They are not obligated to give you a queue ticket to someone who isn't physically there.
