TLDR : Answer Summary
When changing your address in Bangkok and your landlord submits a TM30, it is no longer necessary to submit a TM28 form, as the use of TM28 has been discontinued in favor of TM30. It is advised to keep the receipt of the TM30 form in your passport for reference.

This TM 30 is really taken seriously now. Funds must have dwindled down

They don't seem to push the TM28 in Chiangmai but they do check the TM30... Not hard to do but a slight pain in the arse...when can they link all the computer programs together..this is the 21st century...

, I tried to use it a few weeks ago with someone out at Chaengwattana but all they wanted was the TM.30 receipt.

I honestly don't know...

I didn't know this. Is the TM28 required for anything now or has it been discontinued?
