TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about the process for extending their O visa for 60 days on dependency at Chaengwattana, Bangkok, after recently moving back from Hua Hin. Users in the comments suggest that they may need additional documentation such as a lease, proof of TM30 filing, and identification documents, including a child's birth certificate. Concerns are raised about possible complications due to overstaying, but ultimately, it appears that the TM30 was required for the extension, which can be processed quickly even in a busy office.

the most definitely required the TM30, as busy as it was yestrday i did the Tm30 with in 30 minutes and their were about 50 people in front of me, they also never charge me anything even though it was 7 days late
, the good news IS, if you have a queue ticket you'll get served today. (although it might be late :O ) A friend was there yesterday and walked out with his extension at 7:45PM (even though they close at 4:30).
Glad you got the documentation needed to have filed that TM.30. It would have thrown you off the rails without it.
tm30 was no worries completed with in 20 minutes of entering 3 hours ago. Currebtly 162 in the queue and its on 87. Without a housebook but he woman on the desk said shouldnt be a problem with dependency. Fingers crossed....but yes tm30 was needed mate

Now that you're on an overstay it's totally going to be up to the immigration officer you get on whether they'll let you pay the overstay THEN get the 60 day extension, or just charge you the overstay and deny you the extension.
Seeing as you can apply for extensions in Bangkok when you have 45 days or less left on your current stamp why did you burn down all your time? They ADD the extension on to your existing expiration date so you don't lose any days going early...
, ok so I have managed to get signed copies of the house book and id card as well as the form completed and signed.....this is for the tm30, no i also need my son, his birth cert and copies of my passport, is ther anything else im missing?

well its tomorrow now as the docs are coming at midday...so 1 day overstayπππππ
, go down to the basement of Chaengwattana and go to the copy shops. They know what copies you need from your passport. It's the data page, the visa, your entry stamp and your TM.6 departure card.

i just want to make sure i have all the correct copies, was it a copy of every page in teh passport, i cant rememeber
, that you never have been asked for it in Hua Hin unfortunately doesn't count much as far as what Bangkok immigrations might ask you for.
Seeing as you just moved you have a good chance of being asked for the TM.30 receipt.
If you could I would take the lease, a copy of the land lords thai i/d and their house book listing just in case you are asked about it and then IF you have to file it you can.
