They require a photo for most every transaction.

I got 12 printed last time for future use.

Hope you can get in on an exempt based on history and the bronze doesn't have most of the privileges crap we don't require.

he hasn't said how many days this year and when was last exit.

He may have difficulties getting in on an exempt, hence his post seeking other considered options.

From outside he could go tourist then try to change once here or DTV / LTR as he mentioned.

I suggested a cheaper option than an LTR which he thinks he is precluded from anyways.

I'm shocked but not surprised you bagged it however the poster was after constructive advice and without anything to offer I consider your point mute.

As you were, All-star.

Bronze Elite visa for a 5 year no-brainer.

Extended yearly and 1 extension allowed every time so basically a 90 day reporting and leave country every 2 years

It is the time that bank batch processes the inward receivables.

The 5 year bronze Elite has no conditions for application.

Is 90 day reporting and yearly extensions.

Letters of introduction supplied for opening bank accounts and at DLT for licence.

650,000 baht payable only after approval which takes 4-8 weeks.

It's my back.up.plan if I fail to get a Non O whilst in Thailand.

Worth looking into.

Price vs. 90 day reporting and visa extensions .

The purpose of having 800,000 baht in an account is so you have funds, if required, for emergency treatment.

For a bank to decide to have access to these funds frozen is totally against the reason why immigration want a foreigner to have a considerable amount available at all times.

Requirements in Thailand by different organisations seem contradictory at times.

Another example is organising an O visa and having a bank account - the old chicken and egg dilemma.

Agree.

Many things in Thailand can seem to take forever along with hurdles.

Different immigration offices interpret the law differently.
