Hi all, apologies for the anonymous post but i felt it was needed for personal reasons. 

I have applied for the privilege visa and was given a 4-5 weeks wait. During this time my 60 days exempt plus 30 days extension expired. 

I therefore left for 18 days and am due to fly back to Thailand on 4 March, still without my privilege visa. 

As i just did 90 days (November to February) i am told i should be allowed another exempt entry, but i am worried. What are your thoughts? 

I hope this makes sense (but i guess someone will tell me if not 😂😂) 🙏🙏🥰🥰

One option would be to contact Thai Visa Centre (agent) to arrange a Safe (guarenteed entry) Entry back into the country. For a nomial fee they will usher u back in safely. Very good and professional service.

4 to 5 week wait is considerby less than your 60 days plus 30 extension so you are saying the application has taken over 10 weeks.

Graeme and if you were eligible for the visa why apply when in the kingdom, especially, as I read it, so late in the initial stay.

My circumstances changed throughout out my stay, I went to see if i definitely wanted the visa so gave it some time. I am in no rush and have no issue with the amount time the visa process is taking, just not sure if to go back now or head somewhere else first while i wait. Fair question though, even if not addressed to me 😂😂

Whether you will have a problem or not will depend on your prior history not just the most recent 90 days stay. I'd suggest contacting the Thai Privilege people and asking them for advice

Thank you, i did and they say as i only have one stay that lasted in to 2026 i should be fine, but that it is impossible for them to say for certain. Same goes for anyone, i know. Just curious of others opinions and experiences.
