I wonder if what they mean is you have to go to a Thai consulate/Embassy outside of Thailand to apply for it then it’s put in your passport at the consulate/embassy, this is how it’s always done…or maybe this is a new development
I used to do this with a notarized copy of my passport from the embassy…but I know some people who use their home countries Drivers License to check in
you can also fly out/in for a border bounce if you don’t feel like the drive…Singapore or Malaysia are pretty cheap destinations to border bounce from…Vietnam of its open as well
Couldn’t they just have went to the ATM to get an acct balance or Take the cash out…฿20k baht is only €545 euro which some people spend on a night out in Thailand…..
