this is correct and we will know of the 45 days will be the norm on or around the end of March or if it goes back to 30 days for all border crossings...from what we learned during covid is that its not over until the last day...

every Immigration office is not the same as the others the Thailand...some you can go the same day as you land for a 30 day extension, some you have to wait until you're close to the end of your 45 day stamp...but they all cost the same 1,900 THB for a 30 day extension...good luck

If you get the dreaded 7 day stamp, nothing is stopping you from going out of Thailand and applying for the 60 day SETV or the 6 month METV from either your passport country or a country you hold a residency in…good luck
