Hi, need a quick answer please, not been to Thailand for over a decade, can you please tell me how long you get in Thailand without a visa from Uk !? Answer I'm finding on Google are conflicting !
I have a EU passport and have visited Thailand every year since 2018 (except 2020 and 2021). Staying always 2 months. Used the 30-day visa exemption and the 30 day extension. In 2024 the 60- day exemption was enough.
This year I plan exceptionally to come twice, 2 month May- July returning to Europe for 3 weeks and then again near 3 months planning the 60 day exemption plus the 30 day extension. Always with a 2 way returning trip booked. I never imagined i could have a problem doing this, but by what i have been reading here....
Assuming the first trip will be peaceful, my question is about the problems i might find in the second (August-November).
1- When i try to get the one month extension i may be denied ?
2- Emirates (or another fly company) may denie my boarding saying i am returning in 3 months but my visa exemption just works for 2 months ?
If you feel there would be problems i would be grateful for some suggestions.
Theoretically i can try to get a DTV Visa but i was not expecting it would be necessary.
My wife and i are coming to thailand early next year from the uk, could we get the 60 day exempt then 30 day extension, after the extension, fly to hong kong for 2 weeks and come back for another 60 days. We'd like to be able to book the flight to thailand only and fly back from there instead of 2 flights
So from understanding if I were to leave around the 50 day mark go another like Cambodia for a week and come back would that be okay? Would I be able to do something that several times? If my passport is good and I have a place to live with proof
Hi i am from the uk if i enter on a 60 day exempt can i go to the phillopines after 60 days for 2 weeks then return for another 60 days and get am extention for 40 days after that
If I used up all of my visa exemptions by land and air in 2024, do I get a reset for the new year and be able to re-enter Thailand on a visa exemption in 2025 without having to apply for a Tourist Visa?
Hi everyone! This is my second time asking something here, and I’d love to hear your thoughts or experiences about taking the risk of re-entering Thailand to get another two months (Colombian passport holder / visa exemption).
I’ve been here for almost 4 months now. Last month, I left the country for Vietnam and returned without any issues—my passport was stamped at Chiang Mai airport, where I’ve been living and working remotely. My current stamp expires on January 23, but this time I don’t plan to extend it.
Instead, I want to visit Bali for a week, leaving on January 18 and returning to Thailand after that. Do you think I could be denied entry? This would be my third entry into Thailand, but only the second time leaving for a nearby country and coming back.
I’m worried because I have my things here in my apartment, and if I’m denied entry, I wouldn’t be able to retrieve them. My rental contract ends on February 9. Would it be a good idea to carry my contract or any other documents to show if needed?
I have no bad history, and honestly, this would be my last entry into Thailand before heading back to my home country.
Thanks for reading, and Merry Christmas!, special greetings to Brandon and Jan you guys are amazing.
US visa exemption. I visited Thailand 3 weeks in June and 2 & 1/2 weeks in November. Want to come back 6 weeks in February/March. Should be good to go? I have full iteniary of return flight and where staying. TIA
