I am currently in Thailand on a 60-day tourist visa, issued as an Indian national with a visa sticker. I would like to inquire about the process for extending my stay. I have been informed that a 30-day extension is possible; however, I have also heard that in some cases, only a 7-day extension may be granted.

Could you kindly provide guidance on how I can apply for a 30-day extension of my current visa? Additionally, I would appreciate any advice on whether it is possible to obtain a new 60-day tourist visa from within Thailand, or if I would need to exit the country to apply for a new visa.

Can you get the 30 days extension on a TR visa and also the 7 day one after?

I was hoping for advice on a possible 7 day extension. Im in Bangkok currently and my 60 day extension expires on the 26th. Is the process basically the same to apply for a 60 day covid extension as a 7 day extension? I figure if its basically the same waiting time I should just get the 60 day extension.

I haven't received my result yet, after applying for covid extension.

but if denied, is the 7 day extension applied to the current extension date or to the date of denial?

Hi all, quick procedural question— my extension expires on Saturday (28 Mar.). As this is a weekend, if I were to go into Thai immigration for a further extension on Monday (30 Mar.)—either 7 day or 30 day with a letter— would I be charged two days overstay in addition to extension fees, or would they grant an exception because they’re closed on weekends? My husband is on a 30 day tourist exempt visa we have a plane booked 2 days after, which exceeds this. Please can you advise: I have been working in Thailand on a non-b visa for 2 years (teaching) it expires later this month the day I finish work with my employer.

1) Is it possible to apply for / get a 7 day stamp from an immigration office to allow me some days to organise leaving the country?

2) Would I have to go and ask for that the day my visa expires or can it be done in advance?

3) Do you know the cost of this?
