Richard Steven have no problems! I've never used it as a bank! But many people in this group have complained about having their accounts frozen and having to go through a lengthy bureaucratic process to resolve the problem, and the bank employees were uncooperative

1 hour and 20 minutes... you were more than lucky! In Vietnam, with the same number of people, you would have celebrated the New Year at the airportπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

i agree with you!I have been living in Thailand for 12 years. The first two years I had an ED visa, but then, after the second visa renewal, the school prepared the documents for me late, and I was overstayed for 4 days! From that moment on, I decided that I had to be the architect of my own destiny, so for the next 10 years, I always entered with a tourist visa! But objectively, it's not fair; you can't live in Thailand or in and other country for 10 years on a tourist visa! However, after my last entry in February, after the Christmas holidays spent with my mum and dad in Italy, immigration didn't want to let me in. After 2 hours of begging and crying from my girlfriend, who had come to Italy with me, they let me in with the promise that I would get married, and I did. However, I had already decided that this year, after 7 years of living together, I would get married. I just had to bring forward the date by a few months (I wanted to do it in October, but I did it at the end of March)!

I am usually very critical of the behavior of Thai immigration and the Thai government but in this case...but someone who does not write his name correctly as it appears on the passport! I would triple the visa fee.🀣🀣🀣

I converted my tourist visa to a non-immigrant (marriage) visa last April 17th! The friend who wrote the post was very generic! He didn't say why they can't convert it! If it's because he doesn't have a Thai bank account, if he does have one but doesn't have enough money! Or he went to an immigration office that doesn't want to convert it even though! Or the marriage isn't registered in Thailand and there isn't enough time to register it and apply for the visa! If the friend could specify the reasons it would be easier to answer you! One thing is certain, the law provides that it is possible to convert the tourist visa!

you are welcome and remember...as soon as you arrive in Thailand, your husband has to open the bank account! I know that as soon as you Thai women return from abroad, you have to go visit all your relatives and friends, you have to introduce your husband to everyone πŸ€£πŸ˜‚ but think about opening the bank account first, it's important! Just out of curiosity...where are you going to live? My wife and I live in the province of Udon Thani
