I’ve been overseas for the past 6 months and found my Krungsri account suspended. It seems to be due to not verifying that my phone number matches the account name (I never got around to it). Down 500 baht, not much but I bloody well want it back.
UPDATE: My Visa was officialy APPROVED on June 27, and then rejected on June 30. Applied from Ho Chi Minh. I posted about this on this community.
What happened: I contacted the HCM consulate on Line. You can see their answers on image.
Do you know what can I do ? This situation is very unfair. First, not only for this specific case but, not giving any reason for the rejection and encouring to reapply and pay again is a complete scam process. Second, I was granted the Visa, told my family, my friends in Thailand, already preparing my new life, to finally tell them I'm rejected ? I didn’t even get a chance to react or fix anything.
I’m currently in Vietnam but far from Ho Chi Minh, and I’m now stuck dealing with extra costs and confusion caused by their mistake. If I reapply can I reuse my translated bank documents (around 10/14 days old) ?
I’ve been on a Tourist Visa for the last year and a half.
Spending 6 to 7 months in Phuket.
Previous to that I was on a retirement Visa when Covid happened in early 2022 so I could stay as I got a education visa at the beginning of covid.
I kept it for 2 years and went back to a Tourist visa.
I work in the UK as a tour leader, but this year is very quiet with lots of breaks between tours up to 17 days.
Normally I would work all year from late April and come back to Phuket in October.
This year in October I plan to get a marriage Visa.
However with the time off between tours and coming back to Phuket, I have been questioned by immigration in late may/early June the last time I was there.
I would really like to come back in August for two weeks as I have 17 days off.
But I worry immigration won’t let me in because I’ve been on a tourist Visa coming in and out of Thailand too much recently.
They questioned me at immigration last time asking what I was going to do when I left Thailand, and I told them I was coming back to work and the United Kingdom.
They were happy with that.
I was asked if I had a Thai wife and I said yes they asked me where she was, and I said Phuket.
I made sure that I had 20,000 Bart with me worth of British pounds.
I had a return flight and I booked separate accommodation to our home.
I was thinking if I had a letter from my employer of my work if this would help?
And maybe a letter from my wife explaining my situation in thai.
Or is coming back too risky until October when I would apply for a Marriage visa.
Quick question cause I’m a bit confused. Been living in Thailand for a while now and we’re used to the 90-day report process.
Last time we travelled out of Thailand was in Dec 2024, did our 90-day at Chaengwattana in March 2025 and only travelled to an island in Thailand in April.
We tried doing our 90-days report online and it was rejected under the reason “For first-time requests of a 90-day notification in each country visit, in-person presentation at the immigration office is required.”
Do they now consider travelling outside of your region travelling outside Thailand?
I submitted the TM30 for my fiance' on the website as I live with her when I'm in Thailand, this is my first time doing this. I went into the web site to indicate I'd be leaving the country and there's no reacord of me there, I've tried everything and I don't see my name logged there at all. I downloaded the excel file that shows all stays at that address and its blank. Whats up?
Hi, I was told today that they are not opening Bank accounts at the moment. Need for my retirement visa. How long do we think this will last? I am currently in Pattaya.
