Bangkok Bank has shown the last 9 monthly transfers as international. I get it updated every 6 weeks or so but as I hardly use the account for anything else all the transfers appear quite close together. I will ask at my office next time I'm in town.
sorry to but in but the bank book clearly shows monthly transfers as international so is there a need to get the bank to print statements showing the same thing?
he probably would not have to anyway as his total earnings are likely to be under the threshold. Anything taxed in UK and taxed in Thailand, Thailand have to refund the tax paid un UK. It's not worth the effort trying to work it all out for ordinary retirees.
Usually Google maps print out is accepted but some offices like a hand drawn map. Another tip is to get immigration officer to write down banking requirements in Thai so the bank know exactly what to give you in the way of statements, bank book copy and ketter.
there are legal requirements for many things in Thailand but it doesn't mean they are enforced. Just wait and see, they will soon let you know about it if things change.
