TLDR : Answer Summary
The individual is facing a serious overstay issue as their visa expired in February 2023 and they have been working illegally in Thailand for almost two years. Comments suggest that they need to leave the country immediately to avoid potential arrest and fines. It is advised that they should have their documentation ready, as their employer should assist with the work permit necessary for extending their visa. However, since they have overstayed significantly, the consensus is to leave the country as soon as possible and pay any overstay fine.

So let me get the point, you came into Thailand two years ago to study English, but you couldn’t express yourself properly and you don’t find any school, in the meantime your visa has expired and you are in an overstay state, so you are scaring now to be arrested…is that right?

Your employer should take care of renewal of your working visa if you have one, if not you're working illegally and should jog on out of Thailand before you get thrown in the Bangkok hilton

Two year overstay and you're working illegally - your best bet is to leave and hope they dont arrest you on the way out.

You need paperwork from your employer to extend a work visa. Take that paperwork to the immigration office and apply for an extension

You're working here and you have extended your staying in kingdom so you have this stamp in your passport. Just go to immigration and they tell if you miss any papers. Your company prepares documents what needed👍

Probably he meant 23 of February. Because if two years overstay, he will not be in Thailand. =)

I can understand that English is not your first language but from what I can deduce from your comment you haven't had a Visa for nearly two years. No Visa means no work permit so you have been working illegally. I would say that next time you visit immigration or have to show your passport to the authorities you are going to be asked some very awkward questions. My advice would be to leave the country asap and pay the overstay fine on your way.

English is your first language and you couldnt deduce that 23 means 23rd not 2023. DOH

the grammar issue created the confusion. He stated that it EXPIRED Feb 23.

Had he said expires, there would be no confusion.

If visa has expired in February 2023, you have a serious overstay problem, leave immediately before you are caught and imprisoned........

I you work in Thailand; your company or school will give you work permit to extend your visa. No work permit, no extension.
