I am flying EVA London-Bangkok at the end of December, returning end of March. One month Northern Thailand, one month Laos and the last month in Southern Thailand. What do I do about proof of onward travel? Has anyone had any experience of flying EVA? Do they even ask for proof? Would a bus ticket Non Khai-Vientiane suffice or do I need a flight ticket out of the Country? Any advice would be appreciated 🙏

I've looked through relevant posts but didn't find this exact point covered:

does a UK passport holder visiting Thailand for 2 weeks need to get a visa on arrival? Or would that case count as Visa Exempt?

Hello,

next week I am gonna apply in Jakarta. I am in the process to prepare the documents.

As I am since several months on Tourist Visa in Thailand(with border runs) and have a long term address here, should I mention that address in documents, like in working agreement, letter etc., or should I use my address in Europe?Could be conflicting somehow, as officially I am just a tourist, and should not have an address on documents from Thailand, so better european address?

In the working agreement I will quote: The Employee will perform their duties remotely from their location in Thailand. Should I rephrase and mention "from abroad" or "from Asia"?

Thank you for feedback 🙏🏽

Hi there.

When applying for a multi-entry tourist visa, do you need to have flights booked for all entry and departures and supply those dates?

I understand I can enter for 60 days and apply for a 30 day extension which I would like to apply for, but not sure whether to book the departure flight for the 90 days straight off.

Thank you in advance.

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know if the funds to be deposited for various visas (800,000 baht, etc.) must be placed in a Thai bank savings account? Or can they be invested in a Thai bank fund account (or savings plus funds)? I understand that the total holdings cannot fall below the minimum threshold (400,000 baht, etc.). TIA

I just got my 1 year extension for my non immigration O retirement visa. I have had the 800,000 baht in my bank account. Can I take some of that money and re-deposit it back into the account the next day or 2. We have a celebration and it’s just for show.

Hi!

If someone has applied for a multi entry tourist visa but it has not be approved yet, would they be able to enter Thailand on a 30 day visa before the approval (because of flights being booked) and then leave Thailand and come back if/hopefully when their multi entry visa is approved? Or would it be recommended to wait until we hear back about the multi entry tourist visa and then enter using that? I’m wondering since it takes a while for Evisas to be approved and people may book their flights etc ahead of time and still come on an on arrival visa, does it make them unable to use the Evisa if they leave and then come back on that one?

Thank you in advance for your help!!
