I haven't mentioned Wise yet a I believe that will further complicate the situation. A Wise transfer does not prove where the money has come from which is what I am being asked for. They are scrutinising my uk bank statements right now along with Bangkok bank statements. There are two anomalies which they will probably pick up on.

I have had no problem with the bank letter using banked 0 baht. What bank letter is required for monthly transfers and from which bank?

I am PRINTING UK bank statements right now to see if they will accept money going out of UK coinciding with money showing in thai bank but it shows as going to Wise first.

Go and ask at the LTO. In my province immigration will not issue certs of residence for driving license or to register a car. The Land Transport office request it once you have supplied the correct documents. Takes 2 weeks. Took me two months to work that one out!

give it another go. Wise tells you how long it will take and if it is not acceptable to you try another method.

I can only talk about my office but I had to use an agent during covid when I did not have access to funds as I did not expect to get stuck on Thailand. I had problems getting COR got hassle when doing 90 day report and generally given the run about over many issues I faced. They did not like me having a stamp from outside the province. They flatly refused to transfer my stamp into my new pass port so I had to fly to Bangkok. Agents have their place and some provide a very good service but you are on safer ground if you do it yourself and you can spend the fee on something more pleasant.
